Teaching church leadership and Disciples making disciples
Church plantings continue to grow in the remote northern Tanzania region through Pastor Robert's efforts, the Hope Ministries Backpack Ministry & Hands Across East Africa. In response monthly church leadership & discipleship groups are held for regional church members to attend. The mission is to teach church leadership for new, remote churches that currently have no permanent pastor and to teach a discipleship class for new Christians who have recently professed their faith in Jesus Christ.
First meeting
On Saturday November 2, 2024 Pastor Robert and his ministry team brought together 40 leaders from the 5 recently planted churches to form a coalition of disciple leaders. Leaders that are dedicated to Christ and furthering the gospel in Tanzania.
Pastor Robert travels to Tanzania now monthly to continue to a
grow disciples & church leaders.
A Call to Ministry
This is Daniel and his wife Wilert at the site of Grace Baptist Church which will begin construction in 2026. Having exceled during the leadership training classes, Daniel found God calling him to ministry. In September this year Daniel will beging seminary in Rongo, Kenya at the Kenya Baptist Theological College.
