Morning Worship
The song they sing tells us to sing a song of praise while we are happy, because soon Jesus will come back to take us home in his eternity.
Heavenly Kingdom. Amen!
As HAEA, we are proud to have been a creator and sponsor of Racelly Christian Academy. Sadly, due to the pandemic and ensuing issues, Racelly is currently closed. However, as of 2024, options are on the table to reopen Racelly as a medical facility, which would be a much needed addition in this rural community.
============
Originally, Racelly was a primary school serving 85 plus orphaned and vulnerable children and was founded by Brother Elly Abuor of Homa Bay, located in the Kagan Rangwe constituency, near Lake Victoria in western Kenya.
Elly recognized that education was completely unavailable too almost all children in his region, and after much prayer, found a solution: a small parcel of donated land with several failing traditional mud buildings.
In 2017 two parcels of land were purchased adjacent to the school for
growing crops. The following year a breakfast program was initiated to provide a hot nourishing porridge breakfast for every child.
In 2018 a new 4 room brick building was begun and was completed in 2020.
Fresh water was made available by the addition of a large 3000 litre water tank in 2019.
2017 marked the first year that Racelly celebrated its first graduating class.
God is awesome, wonderful, and mighty. All Glory to God!!!
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet the goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will help fund Racelly and feed and educate the children.
